The Hotel Paris is located in the pedestrian zone.
To avoid fines if you’re arriving by car, carefully follow the itinerary indicated below.
On your arrival, specify your licence plate number at the hotel’s reception; the staff will see to transmitting it to the local authorities to authorise your vehicle. In any case, you must absolutely avoid Via Panzani, which is strictly reserved for public transport and emergency vehicles only.

The Hotel Paris is centrally and conveniently located just a few minutes on foot from the city’s major points of interest.
Business
Central Station, the Convention Centre, Palazzo degli Affari and the Fortezza da Basso exhibition centre are located very close to the hotel and can be conveniently reached on foot.
Art, culture and entertainment
Immediately behind the hotel, the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella displays the refined balance of form and two-toned marble of its façade, the work of great genius of the Florentine renaissance: Leon Battista Alberti.After a visit inside the church, which contains works by Giambologna and Ghirlandaio, take a stroll along the joyous Via Panzani, with its colourful shops.
In two minutes, arrive at the splendid Piazza del Duomo, with the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Giotto Bell Tower and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. The three buildings feature a colourful display of marble and are dominated by the imposing and unmistakable red cupola of Brunelleschi.
Take Via de’ Calzaioli up to Piazza della Repubblica, and pause at one of the historic cafés, such as Gilli or Paszkowski.Continue onto Piazza della Signoria and admire the monuments around and inside Palazzo Vecchio and the Loggia dei Lanzi.Visit the Galleria degli Uffizi and the Corridoio Vasariano leading to the Gardens of Boboli, along the impressive raised path.
Finally, shopping: the whole of the central area between Via de’ Calzaiuoli and Via de’ Tornabuoni, Florence’s trendiest street, features shopping and showrooms from the most prominent Italian and international designers: Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada, Cartier, Dior, Cavalli, etc. To finish with a flourish, visit the exclusive workshops and luxury jewellery shops of Ponte Vecchio.
